EMDR Therapy
Help the past take up less space in your present.
You may spend your days making important decisions, caring for other people, managing emergencies, or carrying responsibilities that don't simply disappear when your shift ends.
WHAT IS EMDR?
Help the past take up less space in your present.
EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a trauma therapy that helps the brain process experiences that still feel emotionally or physically stuck. It can be helpful for single-incident trauma, cumulative experiences, childhood trauma, and other experiences that continue to affect how you feel, think, or respond in the present.
You don't have to forget what happened for it to stop having the same hold on you.
EMDR can help memories feel less immediate, reduce the intensity of emotional and physical reactions, and create more room to respond to what is happening now.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING
EMDRIA Certified, with first responder experience.
My clinical work focuses heavily on trauma and high-stress occupational environments, particularly first responders. I bring that experience into working with other professionals who spend their working lives under significant pressure, while recognizing that every profession and every person has its own culture and challenges.
Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and tailored to what you need. We can work on stress and burnout, process difficult experiences, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, or address whatever else is getting in the way of feeling like yourself.
